The primary service that PFP provides is the creation of very precise "as built" floor plans from which gross and rentable square footages are derived, marketing brochures are enhanced, and emergency evacuation maps are created. An "as built" floor plan shows what exists today and in many cases the square footage is different than what is on record at the County Assessor's Office. Oftentimes the square footage analysis indicates more square footage than what is recorded which makes the return on investment in a floor plan very favorable. Real estate brokers and agents, sellers and buyers, property and facility managers, and Developmental Services all benefit from the updated information contained in "as built" floor plans. The most effective way to produce an accurate floor plan is to make very precise measurements of the physical structure and transfer the measurements into a CAD program. The accuracy and detail of the finished product is only as good as the tools used to collect the data.  While there might still be an old retractable measuring tape in our toolbox, it shares it's space with new, state-of-the-art measuring technologies, including laser and Bluetooth tools for highly accurate measurements.  Read more here.

The Process

• Once a service is requested, a PFP representative and the customer arrange an on-site visit to gather the data required for the requested service.
• After the on-site visit is complete,  the data is processed at PFP's office, usually by the next day. 
• When the project is completed, the customer is sent a pdf file via email and a link to a location on this website which hosts the PDF file of the completed floor plan, BOMA building report, or Emergency Evacuation Map.
• The files will be hosted for unlimited time unless otherwise requested by the customer.
